Refund & Cancellation Policy

1.Digital field guides (PDF)

All prices are in United States dollars (USD), and refunds are issued in USD to the original payment method. If your card is in another currency, the amount you get back can differ slightly from what you paid because your bank converts at the rate on the day — that difference is theirs, not ours.

Every field guide carries a 30-day refund, no forms and no questions — the same promise printed on the page you bought it from. If the guide is not what you needed, email us at hello@trekkr.life within 30 days of purchase and we will refund you. You do not have to explain yourself, fill anything in, or return the file — it is a download; keep it.

If something went wrong rather than the guide being wrong for you — a double charge, the wrong issue, a download that would not open — tell us at any time and we will fix it, refund or re-deliver, whichever you would rather have.

2.Adventure Passport membership

The Adventure Passport is an annual membership that renews automatically each year using your payment method on file, until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account’s billing page (which opens the Stripe customer portal). When you cancel, your membership stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and it will not renew again.

If you cancel within 14 days of a new sign-up or a renewal and have not made significant use of member benefits, contact us at hello@trekkr.life for a full refund. Outside that window, we do not provide partial refunds for the remainder of a term, except where required by law.

3.Business listings and sponsorships

Paid business listings, featured/premium placements and sponsorships are sold for a set term (for example, monthly or yearly) and may renew automatically. You can cancel future renewals at any time by contacting us. Fees already paid for the current term are generally non-refundable, except where required by law. If you believe there was a billing error, contact us and we will review it.

4.How to request a refund or cancel

Email hello@trekkr.life with your order details (the email used at checkout and what you purchased). We aim to respond within a few business days. Memberships can also be cancelled directly from your account billing page.

5.Chargebacks

If something looks wrong on your statement, please contact us first — we can almost always sort it out faster than a chargeback. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may result in your access being suspended while we investigate.

6.Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase. We will post updates here and change the “Effective date” above.
